The city has a unique energy, historical in the Art Deco neighborhoods, and contemporary in the lavish art galleries and fashionable streets. Palm trees line the wide avenues and sway in the seaside breeze as the Hassan II Mosque stands over the Atlantic Ocean with a minaret rising 690 feet above the sea. The beautiful architecture and design are emblematic of historical Islamic art, decorated with lavish, geometric mosaics and bright colors.
You will have the opportunity to visit the Hassan II Mosque and join a walking tour, after it’s off to the political capital of Morocco Rabat for overnight.

Rabat, with its colonial architecture and a long and rich history, and plenty of monuments to show for it from the Phoenician, Roman, Almohad and Merenid times. The whitewashed town across the Bou Regreg river where time appears to have stood still.
Rabat walled medina, Kasbah les Oudaias, le Tour Hassan are the most famous landmarks that we will wonder for this morning before heading north along farmed plains of the Rif Mountains to the pearl blue city of Chefchaouen.
Our journey will end here for an overnight.

Chefchaouen beautifully perched the raw peaks of the Rif mountains. one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, an artsy, blue-washed mountain village that feels like its own world. The old medina is a delight of Morocain and Andalucian influence with red-tiled roofs, bright-blue houses and narrow lanes converging busy plaza Uta-Hammam and its restored Kasbah.

Further south through the Rif mountains to the Roman ruins of Volubilis.
Excavations indicate that the site was originally settled by Carthaginian traders in the 3rd century BC. One of the Roman Empire’s most remote outposts. Volubilis was annexed in about AD 40. According to some historians, Rome imposed strict controls on what could and could not be produced in its North African possessions, according to the needs of the empire.
A few miles from here, stop for lunch in Meknes, one of the four imperial cities. Founded in the 11th century as a military settlement by the Berber tribe of the Meknassis (hence the name Meknes) first settled here under the Almohads and Merenids, Meknes Medina was expanded and some of the city’s oldest remaining monuments were built, this great city developed into a place of great beauty, filled with superb examples of Spanish-Moorish styled architecture, much of which is still present today. Parts of the city, such as the enormous door of Bab Mansour, were constructed from materials looted from Volubilis.

The Fez Medina is an incredible place made up of beautiful historical buildings that date back to medieval times. These well preserved buildings include mosques, palaces, fountains and residential homes. Explore the narrow streets lined with shops selling fresh fruits, spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and numerous other art and craft items from Morocco.
Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihria and the Andalusian Mosque dating back to 860 (note that non-Muslims are not permitted to enter), the oldest university in the world is also located in the Medina of Fez. These old buildings are surrounded by eight kilometers of fortified walls that were built in an attempt to keep invaders out of the city. The Fez Medina is also one of the most complex labyrinth cities in the world, with houses and shops built close together along tangled streets making it near impossible for visitors to find their own way around.

Leaving Fes behind and begin the drive across the middle Atlas Mountains and berber villages. Our first stop will be the small mountain village of Ifrane, lately the little Switzerland.The road winds through spectacular cedar forest where the gregarious Barbary macaque monkeys, resides chiefly in Morocco, with a much smaller population making their home in Gibraltar. The dramatic scenery of this diverse country change for every mile we cross.
Heading south to the vast palm groves of the Ziz Valley, just before we reach Merzouga, here stands the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi which for many travelers fulfil Morocco’s promise as a dream desert destination.
Our stop is brief before you hop on your dromedary and venture out into the depths of the Sahara Desert.
When the sun begins to set, you find an ethereal glow to the dunes, cast in shades of pink, purple, and orange. The stars shimmer in the night sky. You settle into your Berber camp with locals, happy to share the legend of the Sahara around a camp fire with drums sounds of berber blue men playing their desert rythems.

On this day we suggest a very early wake up because the Sunrise offers the unique opportunity to watch the day layer the desert with a rainbow of color. The desert sky is cool and active in the morning, it’s really one of the most beautiful experiences to have. Once again board your familiar dromedary and make your way to the renowned Erg Chebbi sand dunes to meet your driver. In the morning we will visit Khamlia village famous for its gnawa music; originally from Grand African Sahara. Drive across the Hamada (Black desert). Meeting berber nomadic tribes involves nothing more than sitting under berber tent and wait for your mint tea to brew. oasis of palm trees, our way to Rissani, the most authentic and traditional Morocco’s souk, and the largest in the South of Morocco, traded with all kinds of crafts, food, And animals.

Back to Merzouga sand dunes by the afternoon to spend the night in a comfortable Kasbah-style desert hotel at the edge of the dunes.

After breakfast,depart towards the sahara to Todraa valley to stretches the imagination. From the daunting High Atlas to the north to the rugged Jebel Saghro range south, the valley is dotted with oases and mudbrick palaces that give the region it’s fairy-tale nickname – Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. Some of the best views are only glimpsed on foot, on hidden livestock tracks between the Dades and the most famous Todra Gorges. Here we will have break to admire the green palmeraies and berber villages until, high walls of pink and grey rock close in around the road. The approach is thrilling, as though the doors of heaven were about to close for you. Our adventure will continue to Dades gorges where The mud buildings traipse up the hillside and provide breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery.

Say goodbye to your berber host and make your way through the stunning polished rock walls of Dades Gorge and onto Ouarzazate where many famous movies have been shot such Game of thrones, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Kingdom of Heaven Etc…The scenery is absolutely stunning.
Few miles away our stop at the Kasbah of Ait Benhadou one of the most spectacular fortresses in the south of Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site and named as “The Hollywood of Africa”. this walled town of traditional mud and straw buildings and you get an eerie sense of history. We travel through the impressive Ounila Valley following one of the old trade routes of the Trans-Saharan. where desert traders bringing through caravans of gold, ivory and salt in ancient times.

Drive to Marrakech through the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2200m in the High Atlas Mountains. Travel along winding mountain roads with breathtaking views from the highest peaks of Morocco.

After breakfast, make your way west to the Atlantic Ocean. See the large, whitewashed walls of Essaouira rising above the coastline. Palm trees dangle over the walls as the fresh seaside aroma sweeps across the windswept beaches. along the Atlantic Coast of Morocco.

Founded by the Phoenicians, it was one of the ports of the Roman Empire, the city then became a Portuguese colony during the seventeenth century. The visit to Essaouira, Mogador according to the old name, starts at the port, dedicated mostly to fishing, one of the busiest parts of the city, then you will head to the city, the door of the Navy and the Sqala. Essaouira had been classified as a heritage of humanity by the UNESCO. The Medina is surrounded by huge walls that protect it from wind and which were built by the Portuguese during the colonization of Essaouira.
Bright and breezy Essaouira, on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, is an enchanting, laid-back alternative to the frenetic melting-pot of Marrakesh. The town’s name means “little picture” in Arabic, and it’s a painter’s dream location, with a vibrant blue-and-white “medina” (inner walled city), enclosed by fairy-tale, sand-colored ramparts and imposing stone gates (“Babs”). Beyond the colorful port, rolling waves and a wide buttery beach stretching for miles complete the canvas.
The bustling medina is much easier to navigate than you’d imagine. A series of linked streets forms a central spine leading directly from the northern gate, Bab Doukkala, to the main square of Place Moulay Hassan, by the waterfront. Tiny passageways and pungent souks splay outwards like fish-bones.

We will travel up the coast to the town of Safi .
Safi, formerly Asfi, Atlantic port city, western Morocco Safi was in turn inhabited by Carthaginians, Romans, and Goths and finally by Muslims in the 11th century. It was a type of fortified monastery in the 13th century. The Portuguese occupied Safi (1508–41) and built a citadel, which now surrounds the 18th-century Keshla (military enclave). Safi prospered under the late 16th- and early 17th-century Saʿdī sultans. Extending along the coast and climbing the inland plateau, the city is a mixture of medieval and modern architecture. Continue along the Atlantic coast to Oualidia where will have lunch.
The delightful resort town of Oualidia spreads around a gorgeous crescent-shaped lagoon fringed with golden sands and protected from the wild surf by a rocky breakwater.
With a break stop at Al Jadida our journey will end in Casablanca.
